After visiting many Caribbean islands, Ron and Carol found themselves beached on Roatan, in the Bay Islands of Honduras, where they are living their lifelong dream of carefree beach living on a tropical island. Carol, originally from England, found herself on Roatan after an eight-year "stopover" in Florida where she owned her own maid service. Ron, born in South Carolina, has spent most of his life in Florida working in insurance. After meeting each other, they discovered a shared love of boating, diving, and other water sports. The logical next step for this romantic pair was moving to Roatan and sharing in the ownership and management of their own creation, Captain Ron's Hideaway. | |||
